A monograph authored by Nigar Mursal gizi, researcher at the Geobotany Department and scientific secretary of the Institute of Botany of the Ministry of Science and Education, has been published under the title “The Current State and Prognostic Assessment of Cenopopulations of Some Rare and Endangered Species in the Greater Caucasus.” The book is dedicated to the study of the current state of the cenopopulations of certain rare and endangered species in the Greater Caucasus.
The monograph examines the spatial, ontogenetic, demographic, morphometric and vitality structures of the cenopopulations of the investigated taxa through the application of classical and modern botanical methods. For the first time, a mathematical computer model has been developed to provide a prognostic assessment of the potential development and distribution range (areal) of these taxa populations and corresponding forecasts have been compiled.
The scientific editor of the book is Professor Sayyara Ibadullayeva.
