The book was produced within the scientific research program titled “Prospects for the Use of Medicinal Plants Distributed in the Flora of Azerbaijan.” It presents information on traditional folk medical practices related to medicinal plants collected from the Azerbaijani flora and used in the treatment of various diseases, based on ethnobotanical research. The data were gathered from former residents of Western Azerbaijan, as well as from the communities of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur who had lived as refugees for 30 years. The publication serves as an important resource for introducing Azerbaijani traditional folk medicine practices to a broad audience.
