The book was prepared by the Institute of Botany of the Ministry of Science and Education and is dedicated to our glorious Victory achieved in the Patriotic War. The 900-page book includes 8 maps, 10 tables, and illustrations featuring color photographs of 300 relict and endemic plant species including 91 rare species. The publication also contains botanical characteristics and illustrative images of more than 2,000 higher plant species, over 400 species of fungi, as well as moss and lichen species specific to Karabakh.

For the first time since the establishment of the Institute of Botany, such a comprehensive book on the flora of Karabakh has been published in Azerbaijan.
