The first volume of the book examines the causes of the 44-day Patriotic War, its political-military background, and the strategic stages of Azerbaijan’s path to Victory. The publication analyzes, with factual evidence, Armenia’s occupation policy, the positions of international powers, the modernization of the army, and the national solidarity of society. The author also presents on a scholarly basis how the defense lines that Armenia had built over many years were breached, how the Azerbaijan Army seized the initiative from the very first days and the key tactical innovations that influenced the course of the war.
