“The Transactions of the Institute of Molecular Biology & Biotechnologies” (TIMBB) is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary international scientific journal published by the Institute of Molecular Biology & Biotechnologies under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The journal publishes high-quality original research articles, review and mini-review papers, as well as short scientific information in the fields of modern biology, biotechnology, agriculture, and medicine.

The journal is indexed in prestigious international indexing and abstracting databases, including ASCI, AGRIS, Scilit, OUCI, Index Copernicus, Crossref, ResearchBib, Google Scholar, SciSpace, Semantic Scholar, Calameo, and Archive.org. TIMBB is published biannually in English.

The editor-in-chief of the journal is academician Irada Huseynova, the deputy editor-in-chief is professor Aziz Eftekhari and the executive secretary is PhD in biology Nurmammad Mustafayev.
